CAMP COMMANDER

Marc A. Weissmann, of German-Singapore herritage, completed his ‘O’ Levels (IGCSE) and his ‘A’ Levels at Lodge International School in the years of 2008, and 2010 respectively.  In his years as a student at Lodge International School, Marc held a variety of positions and responsibilities in various clubs and societies, and his capability was confirmed when he was appointed the Head Prefect for the 2009/2010 term.  As an active and motivated student, having won multiple prizes and awards, Marc drew a close to his life in Lodge International School by winning the Chairman’s Award for 2010.  Currently, Marc is serving his national service term in Singapore and is attached with the Singaporean Police Force holding the rank of Inspector. 


MAIN FACILITATOR

James C. H. Loi started the first Boot Camp for the Lodge Group of Schools in 2007 with Lodge International School and has since then led the Boot Camp Series Team to run all camps in the Boot Camp series to date.  James heads the Faculty of Law at a tertiary institution, where he combines his passion of teaching, mentoring and ministering the youths with his academics training in law.  He has extensive camp ministry experiences and has in the past 11 years ministered to the youths both locally and abroad (United States of America, Singapore and Indonesia), as well as served in various ministerial positions with several Christian organisations. At present, James is also involves with youth works through organisations and ministries such as, among others, Focus on the Family where he facilitates the No Apologies workshops on abstinence for youths and students.


SENIOR WELFARE OFFICER

Andrew Y. Yu spent his childhood in Taiwan and Singapore before returning to Malaysia where he completed his ‘O’ Levels (IGCSE) in 2009 at Lodge Secondary School and was awarded a scholarship to continue his ‘A’ Levels which he completed in 2011 with straight A's.  While in school, he was appointed to various offices throughout his involvement in clubs and societies.  He was also appointed as school prefect for two terms, namely 2008/2009 and 2010/2011.  Currently, Andrew is taking a gap year before heading overseas to further his tertiary education.


SENIOR PROGRAMME OFFICER

Having competed his GCE 'A' Levels with Edexcel International, Jeremy Oliver Omar of Kota Kinabalu is currently a first year law student with the University of London International Programmes.  This Kadazan-Chinese lad is active in sports with a black belt in karate and was a member of his secondary school's swimming club.


HEAD OF SECURITY

Benson I. Chong completed his ‘O’ Levels (IGCSE) in 2009 at Lodge International School and was awarded a scholarship to continue his ‘A’ Levels which he completed in 2011. He was an active member of the school's rugby team as well as the bowling club.  Benson is currently taking a gap year before heading to the United Kingdom to further his tertiary education.  A serious and committed person,  Benson was previously a prefect in his former school SMK Batu Lintang in the year 2006.



JUNIOR PROGRAMME OFFICERS

Joel Y. C. Goh is currently studying for his ‘O’ Levels (IGCSE) at Lodge International School.  In his years as a student at Lodge International School, Joel represented the school numerous times in track and field events mainly consisting of 100- and 200-metre dash events.  He won the 'Best Boy' award in the school's sports day for the year 2009 and has represented Kuching for sprinting events and won the 100-metre dash events on numerous occasions.  He was also selected to participate in an International Sports meet in Kuala Lumpur where he got 2nd place for the 100-metre dash.  He has been a school prefect since 2010.


A relatively new addition to the committee, Jerry H. K. Tan, of Malaysian-Russian heritage, currently studies in Form Three at Lodge Secondary School.  Jerry has held various positions in an assortment of clubs and societies throughout his schooling life thus far, including being a patrol leader of the school's Scout Troop and being a active committee member of Gavelier's  Club.  He has also had experience organising several camps and was appointed Head Prefect for Lodge Primary School in 2009, then appointed as a school prefect at Lodge Secondary School in 2011.


JUNIOR OPERATIONS OFFICERS

Currently in Form Four of Lodge Secondary School, Ryan S. Y. Tan is active in many clubs such as football club and St John’s Ambulance.  He has represented the school in varius academics competitions and was placed 4th in the 2010 Mighty Minds Competition organised by The Star and RHB Bank.  Out of the school, Ryan serves as the Vice President of his churh's youth group apart from being involved in worship ministry and social-concern ministry.


Kim Hee Sung, of South Korea, is currently studying for his 'O' Levels (IGCSE) at Lodge International School.  While he excels academically, he is also active in extra-curricular activities, having been appointed Head Section Leader of the school's Red Crescent Youth Unit and Vice President of Interact Club for 2011/2012.  This 2011 Best Speaker of Lodge International School Debate Competition is also a school prefect since 2011. 




JUNIOR WELFARE OFFICER

Having previously lived and studied in Australia, Felix S. J. Wong is currently completing his 'O' Levels (IGCSE) at Lodge International School. An active and participative student, Felix can be frequently seen helping out with the school's Christian Fellowship events. This humble and diligence student has been a school prefect since 2011.
